The Chick-fil-A Bowl, known as the Peach Bowl until 2006, is an annual college football bowl game. At the conclusion of the NCAA football season, teams from the SEC and ACC meet at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
In the 2008 Chick-fil-A Bowl, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had been selected as the ACC representative and played the LSU Tigers from the SEC on December 31, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. EST. LSU defeated Georgia Tech by the score of 38-3.ESPN.com: LSU 38, Georgia Tech 3

Bowl History
The Peach Bowl was first played on December 30, 1968, at Grant Field in Atlanta. After the third Peach Bowl, the game was relocated to Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, in 1971. The Peach Bowl continued at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium until 1996, when it was moved again, to the Georgia Dome. NC State and Clemson have played in the Peach/Chick-fil-A Bowl the most, appearing seven times each.
