The Chicago Bulls have been a team in the National Basketball Association since 1966. Some of the players that made the Bulls famous in their early years were Norm Van Lier, Jerry Sloan and Artis Gilmore. While the Chicago Bulls were always a respectable team, the Bulls never did play for a championship until the 1990-1991 season. Led by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant, the Bulls would capture the franchise’s first titles in 1991-1993 and the Bulls would become the first team to win three consecutive championships in nearly three decades. The Bulls would again capture three more championships in 1996-1998 and the team has had very little playoff success since their last championship run a dozen seasons ago. Despite consecutive first round playoff exits, the future of the of Chicago Bulls appears to be bright with the evolving play of their young stars Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.
One of the Chicago Bulls’ first team uniforms placed the player number off-center, a slight departure from the original Bulls' home uniforms. This version was clean and un-cluttered, worn by original Bull Jerry Sloan. One of the first road uniforms for the Chicago Bulls showcased their red color with a script 'Chicago' across the front. Norm Van Lier wore these for seven years in Chicago. During the 1980’s the Bulls would change their uniforms again. Chicago abandoned the script uniform, for a more solid red with Bulls on the top, exactly like their home uniform but in red. One of the most popular road uniforms for Chicago was worn by the Bulls during the team’s second trio of championship during the late 1990’s. The jersey was an alternate road jersey consisting of a solid black with red pinstripes. The Bulls didn’t lose too many games when they dawned these alternative uniforms.

Historical Jersey (1995-1996) The Bulls dawned both the red road jerseys and an alternative road black jersey with pinstripes. The black road jerseys were the first time the team unveiled this combination. The jerseys had "Bulls" in the center on the front with the players numbers centered in read.
