Chi Cheng is the bass guitarist for the band Deftones. The Deftones released their debut album, Adrenaline, in 1995. Since then, the band has released four more albums, with their next release, Eros, slated to be released in the spring of 2009.

2008 Car Accident
Chi Cheng was involved in a car accident on November 3, 2008, in Santa Clara, California, that left him in a coma.
