Chet Zar, born in November 12th, 1967, fostered his interests in horror movies in his young years, as well as spending his entire childhood sculpting, drawing and painting; Later in high school, he began work in the makeup effects industry. This ultimately decided his fate in the motion picture industry.

Widely known for his exceptional works of art in the Pop Surreal/Lowbrow art catagory, his work for Tool's Music and live videos and effects for such movies as The Ring, Planet of the Apes and Darkman has had an exceptional career.
