Within a few days after of her committing suicide, 16-year-old Chelsea Smith's photo was posted on a website that fetishizes suicide and violent death. Smith's family soon found out about the website posting, which prompted them to call for the specific website, and others like it, to be boycotted and banned.

4. Suicide was posted on a website called View My Death, lists suicides and violent deaths
5. Was listed under "Top Ten Deaths" and "Suicide by Rope"
6. Same site lists details from murders, drownings, car crashes, drug overdoses, freak accidents, and deaths during military service
7. Purported creator of the website claims he sold it and is no longer involved
