Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler is an American actress, author and comedian. She currently hosts her own late-night comedy talk show Chelsea Lately on E!. Handler alsp performs stand-up comedy, traveling around the world to do her show. She was a regular on the Oxygen Network series Girls Behaving Badly and a correspondent on The Tonight Show.

Handler can add awards show host to her list of credits as she was tapped to serve as the host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The 2010 VMAs, held on September 12, 2010, returned to Los Angeles, California, to the Nokia Theater, after one year of being held in New York City. When asked about the honor, Handler noted that despite previous hosts like Russel Brand and Chris Rock signing and dancing as the show host, she is not a dancer and not a singer. "I'm there to be funny, kind of, so hopefully I'll just kind of be doing that," Handler said. Handler broke into mainstream entertainment in 2001 when she appeared on Spy TV. She went on to have small roles in television shows like The Practice and My Wife and Kids before signing on as a regular on the hidden camera prank show Girls Behaving Badly in 2003. After four seasons on the Oxygen network program, Handler was offered her own series, The Chelsea Handler Show on E!.
