Chelsea Clinton was asked if the Monica Lewinsky scandal hurt her mother's credibility while she was in campaigning for her mother at Butler University in Indiana. Chelsea responded quickly with "Wow, you're the first person actually that's ever asked me that question, in the...I don't know, maybe 70 college campuses that I've now been to, and I do not think that's any of your business." She received an eruption of applause from the students gathered there to see her. Evan Strange, who asked the question, said later he did not do it to be rude or inflammatory. He says he is a Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter and wanted to point out the things that made her strong.
