Hostel Stay
Backpacker hostels are easy to come by in Sao Paulo and they are the cheapest accommodations in the city. The Praça da Árvore Hostel, a Hostelling International hostel, is located a short, 20 minutes from the city center, but right next to a metro station for easy access. The hostel has the basic dorm rooms plus private double and single rooms for added privacy. The amenities are basically the same as in any other hotel in the area, 24-hour reception, wireless internet access, a free breakfast and laundry services. Hostelling International members receive a discount for their stay when providing a membership card.
