In an interview with The National Post, Soderbergh called the film a "brutal" shoot, since he was given only 39 days to shoot each part. After receiving a "mixed reception" at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, Soderbergh struggled to find a distributor before IFC purchased the rights.National Post: Steven Soderbergh: This might be...
