Chastity Bono is an activist for casues realted to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues. Bono is the son of Cher and Sonny Bono.
Born a female, but identifying himself as a transgender person, Bono announced through a spokesperson on June 11, 2009, that he will transition from a female to male. There was no comment made regarding whether he will have surgery. [1]
