    On January 24, 2009, Budinger was involved in an on-court scuffle with Aubrey Coleman of the Houston Cougars. After Coleman pushed Budinger to the ground, Coleman stepped directly on Budinger's head. When asked if he felt the stomp was deliberate, Budinger replied "without a doubt."     Budinger joined the Arizona Wildcats for his college basketball debut as a freshman in the 2006-2007 season. He finished with 484 points, 179 rebounds and a .845 field goal shooting percentage.     Returning for his sophomore season in 2007-2008, Budinger had a career-high 583 points, starting in every regular season game and logging 1,200 playing minutes.
