Charlotte's Web (Movie)

  • Charlotte's Web is a 2006 film interpretation of E.B. White's popular children's book, with a cast of live and voice-over actors studded with celebrities. The movie is rendered in the style of the 1995 farmyard film Babe—with a combination of animatronic and live animals, as well as computer animation and live human actors. Julia Roberts voices the motherly spider Charlotte A. Cavatica, while Dominic Scott Kay is the voice of the pig Wilbur, Steve Buscemi is the villainous Templeton the Rat, and Dakota Fanning submits a critically acclaimed performance as the young girl, Fern. The cast is rounded out by a number of A-list celebrities, including John Cleese, Oprah Winfrey, Cedric The Entertainer and Outkast's Andre Benjamin.
