Charlotte Gainsbourg is a British and French singer and actress. She was born on July 21, 1971 in London, England and grew up in Paris, France. Her parents, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg are in the acting business as well. Her grandmother, Judy Campbell, was also an actress. Gainsbourg is married to actor Yvan Attal. They have two children together named Ben and Alice.

Acting Career
Gainsbourg made her film debut in 1984 with the motion picture Paroles et musique. The following year, she appeared in La tentation d'Isabelle and L'Effrontee. She has since been in The Cement Garden, Jane Eyre, The Intruder, Les Miserables, Felix et Lola and My Wife Is an Actress. Her more recent works include 21 Grams, ...And They Lived Happily Ever After, Lemming, The Golden Door, The Science of Sleep, Prete-moi ta main, I'm Not There and The City of Your Final Destination.
