Charlotte Church is a Welsh classical and pop singer who began her career at the young age of 11. Church sang on the television show Talking Telephone Numbers, and received a vocal scholarship to Howell's Girls School in Cardiff , Wales, one year later. She initially had success with classical albums, then made a crossover to pop music in 2003.
