Universal Pictures presents [Charlie St. Cloud]], an upcoming romantic drama based on the 2004 novel The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud written by Ben Sherwood. Zac Efron a Southern California native, has appeared on-stage in productions of Peter Pan, Auntie Mame, Little Shop of Horrors and The Music Man. His television career includes guest appearances on television series, including Firefly, ER, The Guardian and Summerland where he eventually landed reoccurring role. Efron’s most notable role is no doubt that of Troy Bolton in the Disney teen, mega-hit High School Musical.

Ray Liotta may be best known for his performance in the crime-drama Goodfellas. His intense portrayal of Henry Hill under the direction of Martin Scorsese garnered critical attention and he quickly became a cult favorite. Liotta is also known for his role as Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams. He has won several acting awards including an Emmy for his 2005 guest appearance on the television series ER.

Kim Basinger, a native of Athens, Georgia, gained wide spread fame for her 1986 role opposite Mickey Rourke in the sexually charged, 9 ½ Weeks. Basinger has starred in dozens of films, and has won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in 1997's L.A. Confidential.
