The YouTube video Charlie Rose by Samuel Beckett, posted on March 17, 2008, uses footage from The Charlie Rose Show to make it appear that the eponymous host is interviewing himself. The sound has also been altered to make it seem as if Rose is addressing his doppelgänger by name.
Backstory
The film is the sole YouTube contribution of filmmaker Andrew Filippone Jr. Its title references Irish playwright Samuel Beckett, whose stark, modernist writings (including Waiting for Godot) frequently featured characters trapped in repetitive, pointless circumstances, akin to that of an interviewer talking to himself.
