  • Charles Wallis Haeger is a right-handed pitcher for the Chicago White Sox. After attending Detroit Catholic Central High School in Michigan, the White Sox selected Haeger in the 25th round of the 2001 amateur draft. After five years as a minor league prospect in the White Sox minor league farm system, Haeger made his major league debut on May 10, 2006. In his debut outing, Haeger pitched 4 1/3 innings, surrendering 5 earned runs, in a loss to the Anaheim Angels.
