Charles Wardlow is one of four men arrested in connection with the shooting death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor. Police believe that Wardlow and three other men were attempting to rob Taylor, and were surprised to find the athlete at home with his girlfriend, Jackie Garcia. The death penalty in the case has been dropped because the alleged shooter, Eric Rivera Jr., was a minor at the time of the incident. Still, the suspects face life in prison if convict. Their trial is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2008.
