Charles Manson

Charles Manson is currently serving a life sentence in Corcoran State Prison for his role in the brutal murders of actress Sharon Tate and six others in 1969. Manson has been denied parole several times.

In March 2009, photographs taken of Manson were released by prison officials. The new photos of Manson show a marked change from the wild-haired Manson the public remembers. In the summer of 1969, Manson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Charles Watson and Leslie Van Houten went on a murder spree killing actress Sharon Tate, who was the pregnant wife of director Roman Polanski, and six other people.
