Professional football defensive end Charles Grant plays for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League.
Grant was one of several players who tested positive for a banned diuretic, StarCaps in 2008. Stabbing
On February 3, 2008, Grant was stabbed in the neck during an altercation outside an Atlanta nightclub. On May 21, 2008, Grant was charged with involuntary manslaughter due to his alleged participation in the fight, which eventually led to the shooting and death of Korynda Reed, who was pregnant at the time. Laquient Macklin, the alleged shooter, has been charged with felony murder and feticide.
