Channing Thomas Frye was born in White Plains, New York, on May 17, 1983. He attended St. Mary's High School in Arizona. He continued his education at the University of Arizona. Pro Career
In his first season with the Knicks, Frye averaged 12.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 65 games. In 2007, he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. As of 2008, Frye has career averages of 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 22.4 minutes per game.NBA.com: Channing Frye
