The trailer for Changeling was released on September 11,2008. It opens with a scene from 1928 in Los Angeles in which single-mother Christine Collins, played by Angelina Jolie, begins her plight against a corrupt L.A. Police Department that is thwarting her efforts to find her kidnapped son. Her battle earns her allies, who are against the system as well, but also lands her in a psych ward against her will. Directed by Clint Eastwood, Changeling is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on October 24, 2008.
