Champs Sports Bowl

Formerly called the Tangerine Bowl, the Champs Sports Bowl is an annual college football bowl game. Played at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, the game features one team from the Atlantic Coast Conference against either the Notre Dame Fighting Irish or one team from the Big East Conference. In the 2010-11 college bowl season, the Champs Sports Bowl featured the West Virginia Mountaineers from the Big East losing 23-7 to the North Carolina State Wolfpack from the Atlantic Coast Conference.http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=303620152 The game took place on December 28, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. EST and aired on ESPN. West Virginia entered ranked 22nd in the BCS standings with a 9-3 overall record plus a 5-2 record in Big East games.
