Chad Michael Qualls was born in Lomita, California, on August 17, 1978. He attended college at the University of Nevada Reno. In 2000, Qualls was selected by the Houston Astros in the second round of the Major League Baseball amateur draft.Baseball-Reference.com: Chad Qualls
Pro Career
