Early Life
Chad Edward Moeller was born in Upland, California, on February 18, 1975. He attended Upton High School. He continued his education at the University of Southern California. In 1996, Moeller was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 7th round of the Major League Baseball amateur draft.Baseball-Reference.com: Chad Moeller
Pro Career
On June 20, 2000, Moeller made his MLB debut with the Minnesota Twins. In his first season, he appeared in 48 games and recorded a .211 batting average. In 2001, Moeller was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2003, he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. He signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2006, then his contract was purchased by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2007. In 2008, he signed with the New York Yankees.MLB.com: Chad Moeller
