Early Life
Chadwick Lee Bradford was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on September 14, 1974. He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 13th round of the 1996 Major League Baseball draft. Baseball-Reference.com: Chadwick Bradford
Pro Career
Bradford made his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox on August 1, 1998. He appeared in 29 games for the White Sox and recorded an ERA of 3.23. In 2001, Bradford was traded to the Oakland Athletics. He spent several seasons with the team, until he was traded to the Boston Red Sox for Jay Payton. In 2005, Bradford signed as a free agent with the New York Mets.
