CES 2010 was not open to the general public. However, events, news and buzz were widely reported through Live Blogs, and other news outlets.

Before CES opened, preview events took place at the Venetian in Las Vegas. On January 5, 2010 CES Unveiled was held at the Venetian . At this event exhibitors gave a preshow look at their newest products before 800 top-tier press. At 9:00am Olli-Pekka, Kallasvuon, President and CEO of Noika presented.

At 11:00am Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, Chairman and CEO of Qualcomm gave the first keynote address from Qualcomm

At 4:00pm Zhou Houjian, the Chairman of Hisense gave a keynote speech as part of the Technology and Emerging Countries Program at CES
