Life hasn't gotten any easier, in fact, lately it seems like it's only getting tougher. Cannie's teenage daughter is on a hormonal roller coaster that's tearing her apart. Her husband Pete thinks it's time for them to have another baby. Her best friend has been looking for love in all the wrong places, including trashy online dating sites.
To make matters worse, Cannie's estranged father comes back into the picture when Joy decides it's time to meet her grandfather. She steals her mother's credit card and head's across country to find him.
