Cell Phone Sperm

Researchers at the Cleveland Clinic have found a correlation between hands-free cell phone use and low sperm count. The studies showed that, under controlled conditions, an increase in cell phone radiation decreased sperm quality by increasing the number of free radicals and decreasing the number of antioxidants in the semen. The study was published September 18, 2008 in the journal Fertility and Sterility. The research is a follow-up to a 2006 study.CNN: Cell phones can affect sperm quality, researcher says (September 18, 2008) ScienceDirect: Research (January, 2008)
