He made 38 consecutive starts, recording 275 tackles, 32 pass deflections, five forced fumbles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries.   • NFL Career

    After college, Griffin was selected 48th overall in the 2006 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 14 games and tallying 41 tackles, eight pass deflections and two interceptions. Griffin earned a starting position with the Vikings in 2007, totaling 92 tackles and 10 pass deflections that season.
