- 1902: Received its start as Kaspare Cohn Hospital, when the Los Angeles Jewish community had concerns about the growing health needs in the area.
- 1910: Moved and was renamed Cedars of Lebanon Hospital

Quaid Twins
While in the hospital in 2007, Dennis Quaid's twins survived a near fatal drug overdose of the blood thinner Heparin. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was fined $25,000.
