Catherine O'Hara performed a segment alongside fellow Canadian celebrities Michael J Fox and William Shatner to finish off the 2010 Olympics Closing Ceremony. O'Hara pops out on the stage to give a short slide show review of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games and gives a little ribbing at how well mannered and courteous the Canadians are. She also joked on how often the Canadians say, "Sorry, it's falling pretty flat."

Catherine O'Hara was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 4, 1954 and is a comedian and actress. O'Hara is a naturalized United States citizen living in Los Angeles, California. She started her entertainment career in Toronto's The Second City as a cast member in 1974. O'Hara is more notably known as the mom on Home Alone (1990) and its sequel in 1992. Her other well known roles include: the neurotic wife in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice (1987); the voices of Shock and Sally in Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas (1993); and the whacky ladies in Waiting for Guffman (1996); Best in Show (2000),A Mighty Wind (2003) and For Your Consideration (2006). In addition to those, she also starred in The Paper (1994), Penelope (2006) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).
