• Catherine O'Hara is a Canadian born actress and comedian.

    O'Hara began her career as a cast member of Toronto's The Second City. The improvisational troupe created its own TV show SCTV on which O'Hara created many memorable characters including Las Vegas singer Lola Heatherton. O'Hara did voice-over work for cartoons through the 70s and, in the 80s and 90s, appeared in such films Bettlejuice and Home Alone.

    O'Hara is a regular in fellow Canadian Christopher Guest's improvisational films including For Your Consideration, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind.

    O'Hara was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007, and in 2008, it was announced that she would start in ABC comedy-drama Good Behavior.

  • Personal Life

    O'Hara is a naturalized U.S. citizen. She is married to production designer Bo Welch and has two sons, Matthew and Luke. She has a condition called Dextrocardia Situs Inversus, which refers to the heart being situated on the right side of the body. Her sister is singer-songwriter Mary Margaret O'Hara.
