The video "Cat Steals Peanuts" was originally posted to YouTube on October 28, 2008, by user ateista. The video features a pet black and white cat opening a bottle of peanuts with its paw and shoveling a few of the nuts out of the bottle.

User ateista is Polish, and began posting videos to YouTube on February 24, 2006. Ateista has posted 25 videos as of November 18, 2008, most of which are oddball funny videos. One particular video of note is titled “Cyborg Pumpkin Dynia Cyborg.” The videos shows a pumpkin that has been decorated to make it look like a robot. The pumpkin was broken into two halves, top and bottom, and a TV screen was placed behind its eyes to simulate eye activity.
