Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is an action game released exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Published and developed by Konami, the game was available on December 5, 2006. Similar to nearly every game in the Castlevania series, Portrait of Ruin continues the never ending battle between Dracula and the Belmont clan.

Story
After two sisters enter Dracula's castle in an effort to save their father, they are captured and transformed into vampires. Soon after, Jonathan and Charlotte explore the castle to find and rescue the two sisters, traveling through several portraits and fighting supernatural creatures. The two protagonists are finally forced to fight Dracula in an epic battle to save their friends.Gameplay
Similar to previous releases in the series, Portrait of Ruin features 2D side-scrolling gameplay. Elect to play as either Jonathan or Charlotte with the ability to switch between the two at any time. Depending on how thoroughly the player explores the game's nooks and crannies, one of two endings are possible.
