DS Graphics and Sound
The non-Belmont hero Soma Cruz returns from Aria of Sorrow to star in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Though the game borrows from the tried-and-true formula of both Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the game's predecessor Aria of Sorrow, the graphics were significantly overhauled for the series' first appearance on the DS. All of the character and enemy models were redrawn, made bigger, more crisp and were given better animations. Additionally, the game's soundtrack was upgraded from its GBA predecessor to nearly match the quality and sound of the PlayStation's Symphony of the Night.1up.com: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Review (October 3, 2005)-
