Gameplay
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, the third GBA entry in the series, was heavily influenced by the gameplay innovations made in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. In addition to traditional platforming gameplay, the game features RPG elements like collectibles, upgradeable weapons and armor and leveling up. Additional features in Aria of Sorrow include collectible souls, save slots for the GBA, link cable support—for connecting GBAs together and trading souls—and the introduction of a non-Belmont lead character: Soma Cruz.IGN: Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Review (May 5, 2003)-
