  • Casting Crowns is a Dove award winning Christian band from Daytona Beach, Florida. Youth pastor Mark Hall founded the band in 1999 and is the band's lead vocalist.

    On April 23, 2009 the Casting Crowns won a Dove Award for Group of the Year.

  • History

    In 2003, the band's self titled debut album was released and gained so much popularity, they became one of the fastest selling debut artists in Christian music. Their second album, "Lifesong" was released in 2005, debuting at number nine on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
