Weighing 9 pounds at birth, the doctors knew prior to delivery that Cassie Grow would be too large to be delivered vaginally. But they tried to deliver her that way causing her to get stuck. Heather Grow was given medications to keep her uterus contracting which caused Cassie Grow's head to be pushed against the pelvic arch.
