Casper is a live-action film based on the Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoon and comic strips. The film details the lives of "Dr. James Harvey" (Bill Pullman) and his lonely daughter "Kat" (Christina Ricci). Kat discovers Casper, and works with her father to develop a way to bring the ghost of Casper and other ghosts back from the other side.
