Cartoonizer is an online photo manipulation application offered by startup company BeFunky. The application allows users without previous technical photo manipulation experience to transform their photos into cartoons. Cartoonizer uses drag-and-drop slide bars to adjust the color and warp settings. Users can make cartoons of themselves with absolutely no technical skill or prior experience in making digital images.http://www.crunchbase.com/product/cartoonizer
Cartoonizer uses a variety of features including:
"Sketch," a feature which converts the photo to look like a hand drawn sketch.
"Warp", which warps a selected portion of your photo and
"Color" which allows users to choose the amount of the original color they want to show in their final image.
Users can also add background frames, expressive shapes, and dialog bubbles to their cartoon. Once users are done creating their cartoon image, they are given the option to save to an online gallery, post the image to a blog or save the image to their desktop.http://www.befunky.com/
Cartoonizer users can grab and manipulate photos from anywhere online including but not limited to Facebook, Myspace, Flickr, Bebo, Photobucket and Picasa. BeFunky does not add any restrictions on where these photos can be posted or used, beyond the original copyright of the photo.http://www.befunky.com/ Photos are the copyrighted property of their owners and cannot be legally used without the owner's permission.
