1931: Ferdinand Porsche opens an engineering and consultation office for engine and vehicle design in Stuttgart, Germany.1934: THe company Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche KG is ordered to design and construct the German VOlkswagen.
1936: Production facilities are erected for the newly renamed Volkswagen, the KdF-Wagen.
