In the wake of the very popular Cash for Clunkers program, consumers are still looking for ways to save on their new-car purchases. Chevrolet (Chevy) Rebates can help you in your search for the latest rebates and incentives on new Chevy SUVs, cars, and trucks.
Rebates
Chevrolet offers cash rebates between $500 and $4,000 on most models. All models offer mobility incentives and most models offer owner-loyalty incentives. Conquest incentives are available on the Suburban 1500 and 2500, and on the Tahoe.c
For the 2010 MY, the program offers zero percent financing and cash allowances between $1,500 and $5,000. For the 2009 MY, the program offers zero percent financing on all models and cash allowances between $1,500 and $7,000; the Silverado and the Avalanche offer bonus cash of $2,500. Discounts may vary by region.
Incentives
These incentives are offered in addition to cash rebates. Incentives can be in the form of cash back, discounts on financing or leasing, or as special pricing. Manufacturers often combine these incentives for additional savings:
- College: An incentive for college students.
College Graduate: An incentive for college graduates or graduate candidates.
- Conquest: An incentive to switch brands. This is the opposite of an owner-loyalty incentive.
- Military: An incentive for current and former military
personnel. Eligible participants can include active-duty and retired personnel, active and inactive reservists, and honorably discharged veterans. Check each manufacturer's program to see whether you qualify.c
- Mobility: An incentive for consumers with physical disabilities. This rebate offers financial assistance for
conversions. Most manufacturers offer up to $1,000 to offset the costs of installed equipment.c
- Owner Loyalty: An incentive to stay with the same brand. This is the opposite of a conquest incentive. Also called a customer incentive. See also cash-customer incentive.
Pontiac Owners: A special owner-loyalty $1,000 incentive that is offered to Pontiac owners to buy Buicks, Cadillacs, Chevrolets and GMCs.c
