2007: The F3R debuts.
2008: Businessman Warren Buffet invests $230 million into BYD, taking a 10 percent share.c BYD debuts the F6 and F0.c
2009: BYD displays their E6 model at the Berkshire Hathaway meeting and the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The E6 can carry five passengers nearly 250 miles on one charge.c
