If you missed the Cash for Clunkers program in summer 2009, there are still many ways to save as auto manufacturers periodically offer incentives in addition to cash rebates.c
Automotive Rebate Overview
According to CarTips.com, once manufacturers start offering incentives, its difficult for them to "pull back" for fear of losing market share. Consequently, leasing information is omitted. c
Most manufacturers gear up for the summer and warmer weather with cash rebates and incentives. College students who are also first-time buyers may be interested in the Ford Focus, which also offers a cash rebate of $2,000. The total savings between rebates and incentives is $3,000.
