    TMZ.com reported on May 11, 2009, that the topless photos of Prejean were taken after she turned 18 years old, contradicting Prejean's claims that she was only 17 and a minor when the photos were taken. It was also reported that she sent one of the photos to her sponsor after she had breast augmentation, funded by the pageant, to find out if she was in "good enough shape" to compete.
