American author, editor and attorney Caroline Kennedy is the daughter and only surviving child of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She lives in New York City with her husband Edwin Schlossberg and their three children.
Kennedy had announced in December 2008 that she was interested in Hillary Clinton's U.S. Senate seat in New York.
