American singer and television host Carnie Wilson has publicly and privately struggled with her weight. She reportedly weighed around 300 pounds at her heaviest. In 1999 she underwent gastric bypass surgery and went down to 146 pounds. After her pregnancy in 2005, she gained 70 pounds and failed to get it back off.
In an interview on March 18, 2008 with OK! magazine, Wilson opened up about her struggle with weight loss and how being in the public eye has made it hard on her self-esteem. She weighed 208 pounds and claimed she is on a downward spiral to being fat again.
