The film titled The Haunting in Connecticut is based on the real life story of Carmen Reed and her family who resided in the old Southington, Connecticut, colonial home the film is based on, which was once used as a funeral home. Reed tells of ghostly visions her family saw and unexplained noises and voices they heard while living in the home.
