Carmen Marc Valvo is an American designer who owns the label with the same name. His collections include evening wear, cocktail dresses, eye wear, swim suits and evening bags. Volvo also has a Hamptons-inspired home collection, named CMV Home. He is an Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) Ambassador.
He is known for the help he has provided to colon cancer research through the National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance. Volvo also worked with Katie Couric and Vanessa Williams to increase awareness about colon cancer.

The Carmen Marc Valvo Couture collection is presented twice a year at the New York Fashion Week in the tents at Bryant Park. But he held his 2009 Collection presentation at the Citrine club, in a cost effective way. Life and Career
He was born on October 30, 1953 in United States of America. He grew up in a traditional Spanish/ Italian family in New York. His father and mother were working in the medical field and expected Valvo to be a doctor. But after volunteering in the ER, he decided not to pursue that career. He spent few years in Europe and had to return to America because of a car accident. While he was recovering, Valvo decided to have a career in Fashion. So he joined the Parsons School of design to learn more about fashion designing. He started his designer career as a ready to wear desinger with Nina Ricci and later worked for Christian Dior.
